St. Paul's Epistle - December 2010 ECMAEF Article
East Carolina Musical Arts Education Foundation
October 15-16 marked the first official organ event for ECMAEF this autumn, with exciting events to follow this February and March. Carolyn and John Skelton, concert organists from Boston, Mass. graced our organ for both a concert and a masterclass. For those who were not able to attend, I have included highlights from a review of the concert by writer, editor, and St. Paul’s Choir member Steve Row, which appeared in “The Classical Voice.” Details are below. I’d also like to take this opportunity not only to encourage all parish members, but to urge everyone to take advantage of the special musical events that we offer. I can promise you that you will not be disappointed with the exciting concerts we have planned for Feb. 5 and March 25. If you have not received an ECMAEF fall brochure, and would like one, they are available on the “tract racks” in the church and chapel, at the Welcome table in the garth, or by calling the music office at church. I wish everyone a blessed November!
